The Jukebox
Part 66 · timer
The rule: Each of you queues three songs. The dare changes when the song does. Skipping a song skips nothing.
The Jukebox is one of the bed games with actual rules from our TikTok series (part 66). It needs two adults, one bed and nothing else. Below: how to set it up, how a round goes, how to play it at four levels from mild to extreme, the mistakes that break it, and three variations for the second night.
Setup
One speaker, one phone, one queue. Each of you adds three songs to it without the other seeing — alternating, so the order is A, B, A, B, A, B. Six dares written or drawn in advance, stacked face-down.
How to play
- Press play. The first song belongs to the player who added it.
- Flip the first dare. It's played by the song's owner, for the full length of the song.
- When the song changes, the dare changes: flip the next card. New song, new dare, other player.
- Skipping a song skips nothing — the dare still runs for the full length of whatever's playing.
- Six songs, six dares. When the queue ends, the last dare's player picks the encore.
Four levels
- Mild: Dares are slow-dance-shaped: hold, sway, kiss for the length of the chorus.
- Spicy: Dares follow the tempo. A fast song means a fast dare; a slow song means the dare slows with it.
- Hot: Each dare lasts the whole song and can't finish early. Pick your songs knowing that.
- Extreme: Queue six songs, one dare: the same dare, for the length of the whole playlist, pace set by whatever's playing.
What breaks it
- Choosing songs for their meaning instead of their length. A seven-minute track is a seven-minute dare.
- Looking at the queue. Each of you knows your own three; that's the point.
- Pausing. Pause is a skip, and skipping skips nothing.
Variations
- The shuffle: put all six songs on shuffle so nobody knows whose song is next.
- The one-song night: one song, on repeat, dare changes on every repeat.
- The silent jukebox: play it with headphones on one person. The other plays their dare to music they can't hear.
The matched list
Every game on this page assumes one thing: you both already said yes to it. If you want the version where that happens on the screen first — each of you picks privately, the game only plays what you both chose — that's the TwoNite dare game. It runs in the browser on one phone, no account. The Jukebox works as a house rule on top of it.

FAQ
How long is The Jukebox?
Six songs — roughly twenty minutes. Plus the encore.
Where do the dares come from?
Write six yourselves, or draw six from the TwoNite dare game beforehand and keep them face-down.
What if we hate each other's songs?
You'll get three minutes to think about that, while doing a dare to it. That's the game.
